Digital Operative is growing full-service digital agency in search of an experienced Account Manager to join our team. The person best suited for this role has equal parts expert client relationship management skills along with solid experience in Ecommerce and Digital Marketing. He/She will be tasked with helping our clients grow their businesses by gaining value through the offerings of the agency. You will have access to a team of talented and bright experts to drive a consultative approach to client engagements built on delivering value.

As an Account Manager, it will be important to both think strategically as well as execute the day to day management of key accounts. You will need to gain a deep understanding of your client's business in order to ensure the work being produced is aligned with the client’s KPIs and driving results. Within this mindset, you will need to be able to stay organized, leverage the resources available to you, build solid client relationships and be ever cognizant of the client's needs.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Be a trusted advisor to your clients; provide strategic recommendations and proactive updates on their Ecommerce business and marketing goals
  • Develop a deep understanding of each client’s business(es) and collaborate with DO teammates to effectively translate insights into activation program execution
  • Manage all client reporting and communication including day to day account updates, project briefs, roadmap planning, weekly status calls, monthly performance presentations and in-person QBRs
  • Build strong, long-term client relationships where DO is positioned as their competitive advantage
  • Consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual account growth goals
  • Consult client on trends in Ecommerce and retail to drive proactive opportunities for growth
  • Support Director of Accounts and Account Management Team across agency accounts as needed
  • Work closely with your Project Manager to ensure initiatives are completed on time and on budget

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in a client service or account management role
  • Knowledge of website design + development process; ideally related to Magento and/or Shopify
  • Understanding of the Ecommerce landscape, technologies and trends
  • Experience with digital marketing principles and executions
  • Ability to take ownership of the client’s business priorities and drive established goals forward; function as an extension of the client’s in-house marketing team
  • Ability to adapt to change and perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain a proactive, collaborative and positive attitude at all times
  • Strong conflict resolution skills
